According to reports, emergency responders were called out to the scene of the incident on a recent Thursday morning. They say it occurred as a worker was performing project tasks next to a portable crane. Reports indicate that the crane suddenly shifted and fell over, trapping him between it and a nearby wall in the process.
Officials have advised that he was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of severe injuries. While the Occupational Health and Safety Administration has advised that an investigation into the incident is underway, no further information was provided as to what might have caused the crane to fall over.
