2 injured in construction accident involving truss collapse

The accident 

Reports indicate that authorities received information about the incident on a recent Thursday morning. According to reports, workers were performing job-related tasks on the site of a construction project when a truss collapsed. This collapse reportedly caused several workers to fall nearly 20 feet to the ground below, causing at least two individuals to suffer severe injuries in the process. 

Officials indicate that one of the workers was airlifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment of a severe head injury. Another worker reportedly suffered a broken arm and was taken to the hospital for medical care. While an investigation into the incident is underway, no further details were provided as to what might have caused the truss to collapse.
